I have been wanting to update for awhile now but I have literally no time! Alot of things have happened:
1) Lian's Cleft team at Edwards is closing their department, so we have been on the hunt for another reputable cleft team. We are seeing them next week. The surgeon used to work at Children's but now has his own practice, he's very reputable from what I have discussed with other families on the adoptcleft yahoo support group (been doing it for ~30 years now). So wish us luck!
2) Getting our house ready for sell which means repainting, organizing, cleaning, putting things in storage, etc. You don't realize how much stuff you don't need until you go through everything, lol. Hope to get it ready and have our house up for sale by March.
3) Planning Lian's 2nd Birthday and 1st Gotcha Day! More to come on this :)
4) My Mom is visiting for Lian's birthday in March so another incentive to get everything done by that time, lol :)
5) Lian's "Little Tikes Gym" class started.....GREAT CLASS! It's 1.5 hours of him running around, playing with balls, slide, all different types of tricycles, etc. Great to get his energy out on these cold winter days where we can't get out to the park much.
6) We are going to court for Lian's "Readoption" in the US :) Now he will have a US and Chinese birth certificate.
