Our Little Man Enjoying his First Holidays

Lian's first Christmas tree. We set it up on Friday night and on Saturday morning when he came down he didn't even notice it for the first hour or so, lol! Then he started touching it but didn't like the bristles.

Our Tiny Professor

Visit to Santa!
Lian wasn't too happy to see Santa! He didn't cry but started to run away! :)
I bribed him back to Santa with his present (box).....Lian loves boxes.
Wow....how did Santa know that Lian wanted a Jack in the box?
Lian and I telling Santa that we were all good.

Counting......1, 2, 3,......

Not sure what made him make this face, lol!

Heh?!

What Lian has been up to lately (if I can remember it all, lol!)

1) Says "Ba" alot  and consistently for ball, box, block, balloon and says "Ba Ba" for bubbles (he loves bubbles!)
2) Has already been saying the "Sh" sound for shoes, but now he'll say it for socks and fish. Makes the "P" sound when trying to say apple.
3) He nods his head yes for things he wants and shakes his head no for things he doesn't want, he really clearly understands that now.
4) Likes to flip the light switches and knows that it turns the lights on and off.
5) Signs he's learned/learning: Help Me, Mom, Dad, Bubbles, Bath, Play, Potty, Sad, Mad, Hurt, Your turn, My turn, Baby, Bed, Milk, Happy, Where, What
6) He also has started to move his hands back and forth to say "Let's Go" and he does this alot when we are out somewhere. But he also does this to the speech therapist and waves bye bye and runs to the door and taps the door.....wanting her to leave I guess (this usually happens when she has just come in)! So funny!

We can't wait for Christmas morning and to see Lian with all his presents under the tree. It will be perfect. We have been waiting so long for this moment, it's hard to realize that it will be finally here. Steve really helped me get through Christmas, year after year, for 6 years saying....maybe next year will be our time........Words cannot express how much we love our son.........How much we love each other..........And how much we love that we finally have our family.
